CINDY DEPWEG VOLUNTEERED TO TAKE OVER THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR. MOTION, SECOND AND UNANIMOUS APPROVAL.


BLM REPORT - NONE ALL MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS AND MEMBERSHIP FEES ARE TO BE GIVEN TO CINDY EFFECTIVE THIS DATE. WENDY AND CINDY WILL MEET AT THEIR EARLIEST CONVENIENCE TO TRANSFER APPROPIATE PAPERWORK AND RECORDS.


WENDY SUBMITTED HER RESIGNATION AS SECRETARY EFFECTIVE FOLLOWING TONIGHT'S MEETING DUE TO PENDING MEDICAL ISSUES. THERE WERE NO IMMEDIATE VOLUNTEERS FROM MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE, HOWEVER, FOLLOWING THE MEETING, LINDA ALEKSICK ADVISED SHE WOULD TAKE THE SECRETARY'S DUTIES UNTIL THE NEW FISCAL YEAR ENDING IN JUNE, 2018. TO BE HANDLED AT THE FEBRUARY MEETING.

OLD BUSINESS -

THE CLUB MEMBER DINNER AT THE RAMADA INN, PLANNED AND COORDINATED BY LONDA OLSZEWSKI, HAD GREAT ATTENDANCE (50+), GOOD FOOD AND AN EXCELLENT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL. . THANK YOU LONDA.


NEW BUSINESS -

CINDY DEPWEG ANNOUNCED SHE HAS NEGOTIATED REDUCED PRICING FOR CLUB LOGO CLOTHING THROUGH LEE'S UNIFORMS FOR A GROUP ORDER OF 20 PLUS . REORDERS AT A LATER TIME WILL COST SLIGHTLY MORE. SEVERAL MEMBERS DISPLAYED THE CURRENT DESIGNS AVAILABLE. ORDER FORMS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE SIGN-IN TABLE WITH PAYMENT TO BE MADE TO CINDY TO FORWARD TO THE TREASURER AFTER ORDERS ARE PLACED. MOTION, SECOND AND UNANIMOUS APPROVAL FOR A GROUP ORDER.


JIM JOHNSON REPORTED EMAIL CONTACT VIA OUR CLUB WEBSITE REQUESTING INFO ON A SECURE PARKING AREA FOR 3 OR MORE PICK UPS IN KINGMAN. LONG-TIME TRAIL-RIDING FRIENDS FROM VARIOUS CITIES ARE PLANNING TO RIDE THE ARIZONA PEACE TRAIL ROUND TRIP FROM KINGMAN BETWEEN FEB. 25TH AND MAR 2ND, 2018, MOTEL OVERNIGHTS IN AVAILABLE LOCATIONS.

AFTER SEVERAL SUGGESTIONS THEY VIEWED ON GOOGLE EARTH, THEY DECIDED TO ACCEPT FENCED, LOCKED STORAGE NEXT DOOR TO DAVE AND WENDY.'S BACK YARD FACING ON HARRISON. WE HOPE TO RECEIVE ARIZONA PEACE TRAIL RIDING AND OVERNIGHT ACCOMODATION INFO UPON THEIR ARRIVAL HOME.

1-13-18 GARY WILLIAMS' YUCCA RIDE TO THE PINK QUARTZ MINE, 13 RIGS, 28 MILES, GREAT WEATHER AND RIDE.


1-19-18 LINDA ALEKSICK'S BIRTHDAY DRY CAMP AND RIDES COORDINATED BY LONDA OLSZEWSKI IN SCADDEN WASH, QUARTZITE. GUIDED RIDES ARRANGED BY BECKY AND JOHN SHUTTZ, 11 CLUB RIGS PLUS QUARTZITE RIDERS. RIDES DAILY THROUGH WED 1-24-18. GREAT CAMPSITE, AWESOME RIDES AND GOOD COMPANY. A POTLUCK DINNER WAS SHARED ON SUNDAY NIGHT, MISSING JANINE AND BOB HAYS, WHO WERE UNABLE TO JOIN THE CAMP OUT AT THE LAST MINUTE DUE TO A MEDICAL EVENT. SEVERAL MEMBERS REMAINED THROUGH THURSDAY, CONTINUING ON TO MEET OTHER CLUB MEMBERS IN GLAMIS FOR FURTHER CAMPING AND RIDING. ON THE GUIDED RIDES, WHIFFLE-BALL CONES WERE DROPPED BY THE LEADED TO INDICATE TURNS, THEN PICKED UP BY THE TAIL GUNNER. MEMBERS INDICATED LIKING THE PRACTICE. WENDY WILL PICK UP CONES TO TRIAL AT OUR NEXT RIDE.

THERE HAVE BEEN SEVERAL LAKE MEADE PRE-RIDES PLANNING FOR FUTURE RIDES.




FUTURE RIDES -

-1-25 THRU 2-25-18 JJ AND AMY WILL BE CAMPED AT LAKE PLEASANT MARINA AND RV PARK ON THE CARFREE HIGHWAY EAST OF WICKENBURG. HOOK UP AND DRY CAMPING AVAILABLE (602/269-0077) . JJ HAS PLANNED RIDES TO CROWN KING MINE AND CASTLE HOT SPRINGS ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, 02-03 AND 02-04-18. CHECK CLUB CALENDAR ON THE WEBSITE AND CLUB FACEBOOK EVENT FOR DETAILS. JJ WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR ADDITIONAL RIDES AS PRE-ARRANGED BY PHONE OR TEXT TO JJ ( 925/413-3352).

THE 50/50 WAS WON BY LAURIE O'CONNOR, FOLLOWING WHICH THE MEETING WAS ADJOURNED. NEXT REGULAR MEETING ON TUESDAY, 02-27-18 AT 6:30 PM. DOORS OPEN AT 6 PM.
