JJ reminded everyone that we are not a service club. However, one priority we have is to support

Kingman Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Association and also help ranches with

some cleanup and various projects for riding purposes. They are more willing to let us ride on their

property this way.

There is a fire alert on by the Bureau of Land Management until further notice for Mohave and LaPaz

Counties in Arizona. This restriction includes the Western Arizona Zone encompassing Kingman Field

Office. It states: “The following acts are prohibited until further notice: Building, maintaining, attending,

or using a fire, campfire, charcoal, coal, or wood stove. Campfires and charcoal grills are permitted in

developed recreation sites or improved sites where agency fire rings or grills are provided. Developed or

improved recreation sites listed in the order.”
